Quality was good with mostly feeder weights penned with limited supply of heavy prime cattle and cows. Not all the regular buyers were present. and competition lacked. Young cattle to the trade held firm, prime yearling steers sold from 320c to 365c, and prime yearling heifers, 310c to 357c/ kg. Feeder steers fell 10c, 330c to 422c, while feeder heifers were firm, 290c to 363c/kg. Prime grown cattle were 20c dearer, heavy steers sold from 340c to 372c, and heavy heifers, 285c to 366c/kg. Cows were 6c better, 2 and 3 scores sold from 220c to 300c, and heavy prime cows, 310c to 338c/kg. Heavy bulls sold to 318c/kg. Quality was mixed with mostly trade weights penned along with limited supply of heavy lambs. Most of the regular buyers were present and the market sold to a cheaper trend. Trade weight new season lambs 20kg to 24Kg sold from $170 to $210/head to average between 770c and 840c/kg cwt. Lightweight old lambs to 18kg were $20 cheaper, $35 to $137/head. Trade lambs 20kg to 24Kg dropped $18, $158 to $190/ head to average 740c to 780c/kg cwt. Heavy lambs over 24Kg were down $10, $205 to $250/head, averaging 820c to 860c/kg cwt. Heavy hoggets reached $160/head. There was 1256 mixed quality mutton yarded, and prices dropped $15 to $20 across most grades. Merino ewes sold from $44 to $131 and crossbred ewes, $64 to $126/head.
