Quality was mixed with mainly light cattle suitable for feeders and re-stockers penned. Most of the regular buyers were present. Young cattle to the trade held firm, prime yearling steers sold from 330c to 380c and yearling heifers, 270c to 363c/kg. Feeder steers were also firm, 290c to 413c while feeder heifers gained 13c,270c to 333c/kg. Prime grown cattle were firm to dearer, heavy steers sold between 317c and 383c, and heavy heifers, 255c to 375c/ kg. Cows lifted 15c to 20c, 2 and 3 scores sold from 171c to 290c and heavy prime cows, 290c to 357c/kg. Heavy. Bulls sold to 281c/kg. Quality was mixed with mainly trade weights penned along with good runs of heavyweights. Most of the regular buyers were present. Lightweight processing lambs to 18kg were firm selling from $85 to $152/head. Trade lambs 20kg to 24kg lifted $5, $182 to $219/head, averaging 860c to 900c/ kg cwt. Heavy lambs sold $15 dearer and averaged 930c to 960c/kg cwt. The 24kg to 26kg lambs sold from $222 to $254 and lambs over 26kg, $260 to $280/head. Heavy hoggets reached $190/head. There was 900 mixed quality mutton yarded and prices lifted $10 to $15.Merino ewes sold from $60 to $188 and crossbred ewes, $44 to $196/head. Most averaged between 490c and 510c/kg cwt.
