Orange Tenpin BOWL RAYS Order of Australia Honours Jason Belmonte AM HEY HEY ORANGE I'm back from the Tour Finals. Finished in 3rd place and was so close from the title match. A stubborn 10 pin stood in my way when I needed to strike on what felt like a perfect delivery. It was crushing to see it stand, but unfortunately that's part of the game. The only way I can truly describe the feeling is imagining you're a golfer who crushes the drive right down the middle of the fairway, only for the ball to take a mysterious bounce left and fall into a bunker. The feeling of nailing the execution of something only to see the result end up far from perfect is heart breaking. As I said, this is part of the game. And even though I've been playing this game for my entirely life, I'll never get used to seeing a 'bad break' on a perfectly executed delivery. Whilst my final event of the season resulted in a 3rd place it now sees me have an entire off season start where I can be home full time. I'm very excited to spend some quality time back in Orange, so if you see me and see me smiling, you'll know it's because I finally able to be home for a few consecutive months. Till next time.
