Orange Tenpin BOWL BAYS Order of Australia Honours Jason Belmonte AM HEY HEY ORANGE, Hey hey Everyone, a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I had bowled an event called the PBA Roth/ Holman Doubles Championship. I asked you to wish me luck and that I would let you know how we went. Then had to hold off saying anything as we had been asked not say anything about the event until it aired on Fox Sports. So very happy to now say WE WON. We being myself and Bill O'Neill. This made it my 32nd PBA title and Bill's 15th. Last year we came close loosing in the final match coming in 2nd place but this year we went into TV Stepladder final as top position and took out the first prize when we beat our opponents convincingly in a one game showdown. Bill and I also won this event a few years ago, made many TV finals as Doubles partners and now won it again in 2025. It is difficult to win the doubles event as you need both players to be their best for the entire tournament. To win it, you have to have two guys that are rolling great at the same time for the whole week. Then to finish it off, you both have to execute really well on TV. It's not easy to find that combo all week. BUT we did this time round, we did it we won. Nice feeling for sure.
