Blayney Shire Council is a small rural council located on the Mid-Western Highway between regional centres of Orange, Bathurst and Cowra. Employs around 200 locals helping the community with infrastructure projects, town planning, construction, environmental services, roads, waste management, tourism, economic development, sporting and recreational facilities, community events and projects to improve the lifestyle and prosperity of local residents and businesses.
Council actively engages all sectors of the community in the delivery of its vision, through provision of cost effective services, investigation of innovative opportunities, development of efficient asset management principles and attracting / retention of the next generation of residents.
