Blooms The Chemist’s roots go back to the early 1980’s when a few astute pharmacists came together to increase their buying capability. The first Blooms The Chemist branded pharmacy opened in 1997 in Richmond. By 2000 there were 35 pharmacies in the Group. Through our Health Checks program, Blooms The Chemist pharmacists are able to answer health questions, recommend treatment options for minor ailments, providing a variety of health checks, as well as dispensing medication.
