About
Vineyard and winemaking business, these vines have been cut back in preparation for grafting to a new variety. 5 rows were grafted to an Austrian white called Gruner Jetliner, and the other 5 rows were grafted over to a Spanish red variety called Mencia. The Mencia sits along side a Spanish white that we planted 3 years ago Albarino.
We have always had an interest in alternate varieties, our first plantings back in 1998/9 were Pinot Gris, the first in Orange! We went on to plant Viognier and then Petit Manning.
Our vineyard uses sustainable practices, we do not use herbicides, insecticides or fertilisers.
