Orange Tenpin BOWL BAYS Order of Australia Honours Jason Belmonte AM HEY HEY ORANGE! It's my final week at home till I'm on the plane heading to the PBA tour. It's a difficult week for me because there is so much excitement to go do what I love to do for a living, but at the exact same time I feel so much sadness that I have to leave my family for months at a time. It's this last week where I try to soak in all the noise of a busy house. A wife and 4 kids running around, asking me for snacks in the afternoon after school, asking me to take them for a motor bike rides, asking me to take them to a friends house, asking me to throw a cricket ball on the front lawn, asking to run errands in town. On any other week the requirements of being dad at home can tiring, but this week, I soak in all in as I'll soon miss the chaos. My busy home will be my reminder that while I'm lucky I get to do what I love for a living, I must do it well, otherwise I'll be missing home for no good reason. So as hard as it is to leave, leaving home becomes my motivator to perform. biggest I do it for me. I do it for them.
